Io & Forest

If you are ready for a flock that doesn’t require you to introduce and socialize all the members, here is your opportunity! This eclectic group of budgies has been together for since 2022 and is comprised of two bonded pairs. All of the birds except Io are CLEAR alumni; they returned to us after their wonderful family welcomed a baby. They've all been to the vet and received a clean bill of health!

Each bird has their own distinct personality, and while they get along extremely well, sometimes you’ll want to give each pair their own space to ensure everyone is getting their fair share of food and treats. They share a large enclosure that can be divided in half with the insertion of a divider.

Io (green / female) is the ruler of the roost. Forest (light yellow / male) is her handsome and accommodating boyfriend. Beakatrice (blue with white crown / female) is so very sassy. Ocean (blue with yellow crown / male) is her affectionate and fearless protector.

As to be expected with bonded pairs, they are perfectly happy being birds with each other. They are not hand tame and may flutter to the opposite side of their enclosure when their people reach in for feedings. They are playful and active and will bring a happy chatter to their forever home!
