About CLEAR

CLEAR is overjoyed to officially welcome Boatsnack, a sun conure, to his new position as an education ambassador. Our new gentleman joined CLEAR in May of 2025, after being found in Orland Park. After a thorough veterinary exam at Chicago Exotics, Boaty was determined to be a male with an estimated age of 10 years old. Boatsnack, named for Maui's fond nickname for Heihei the chicken in Moana, will be attending CLEAR education events going forward. Boaty, we are so glad you're with us!

CLEAR is so happy to have Bon Bon on the Education Ambassadors team! Bon Bon was relinquished to CLEAR is 2023 and has been stealing  hearts since. She does a great impression of the microwave and smoke alarm beeps, and quacks like a duck when she's happy. Bon Bon loves the attention that comes with doing programming. 

Pearl, a white-capped pionus, joined CLEAR as an education ambassador in 2025. is a sweet, introspective 25-year-old lady who has had an adventurous life. ​Pearl's love language is head scritches- she warms up quickly to people who can understand parrot body language and respect hers. 

CLEAR is thrilled to welcome new education ambassador corn snake Snakespeare to the outreach team! Shakespeare was relinquished to CLEAR along with another snake in May of 2025 by a family who loved them both but were unable to continue to care for them. Shakespeare received a clean bill of health, and even our vets noticed her gentle, inquisitive nature. Shakespeare debuted as an education ambassador shortly thereafter, where she was a hit with attendees of all ages. We are so glad to have her with us!
