Ash on day 1... very unsure about all this new stuff and people.

Introducing Ash... Ash baby, Ashbury, Ashy, Ash Ash... he goes by many names.

Here's Ash just a few days later. A bigger cage, more enrichment, and lots of one-on-one time has helped Ash a lot.

In September of this year, CLEAR took in its first ever Congo Grey parrot. Ash is in his 30s and he's such an adorable bean! Ash is inquisitive, engaging, and loves attention while still learning limits and trust. Ash was with his previous owner for his entire life. He's been well-loved, and he's learning to trust again. Ash has been with his foster family for only a few weeks-- but he's already making BIG progress. Ash has grown in leaps and bounds; in trust building with his foster parents, not favoring one or the other. Ash is eating his balanced pellets, learning to trust new, fresh foods, and just really enjoys a good ol' unsalted peanut now and then.

Ash enjoys bonding through music, talking, and exploring the luxurious rooftop deck of his penthouse. He is really talkative and active all day. He really enjoys the music of Steve Goodman and he loves to listen to WDCB Chicago's home for jazz... bird jazz. His favorite toy so far is his abacus, but he also enjoys a shred wall.
