Cortado

Writer: F JohnsonF Johnson
Cortado

is one of multiple ball pythons rescued from being dumped at a forest preserve in Skokie. A Cook County Forest Preserve police officer (who was previously afraid of snakes!) happened to be in the right place and at the right time to see this stunning lady moving across a deserted parking lot late at night. Thinking quickly, our police officer friend scooped

Cortado

up and kept her safe until CLEAR could respond. Although

Cortado

is a spider ball python, she does not exhibit any of the typical neurological or health issues that often accompany this genetic profile. We are so glad this gorgeous girl came to us, and we are sending her home with a complete enclosure so that she can stay safe and sound for the rest of her days.
