Nix

Writer: F JohnsonF Johnson

Adult - Female - Parakeet

Nix came up to a Good Samaritan on the Lakeshore Path by Oak Street Beach in April of 2023. She was bleeding from her nose, she was scared and bedraggled. Her Birdy Godmother was kind enough to bring her to CLEAR, where she is working on settling into a new, safe environment. Nix is very fearful and unafraid of defending herself; she would do best in a patient home that will allow her to open up to humans at her own pace. She does eat millet from hands, which is a great start!
